The Galveston County Sheriff's Office seized more than $700,000 from the City of Hitchcock earlier this week amid an investigation into illegal game rooms in the city.
Police are searching for multiple suspects after a violent robbery occurred inside a game room business in northeast Houston.
At least a dozen shots were fired during a "gun battle" that transpired from an attempted robbery at a game room in Spring, according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
Investigators are looking into nearby surveillance video and have not released a description of the suspect(s).
The 19-year-old game room manager told deputies he was stabbed twice by the suspected robber, which led to the deadly shooting.
