B&B Butchers is a favorite new restaurant among Houstonians. Executive Chef Tommy Elbashary shares one of his most popular items on their lunch menu, Crab Louis Salad. The secret's in the dressing!

Crab Louis Salad

  • Hearts of palm
  • Avocado
  • Diced red onion
  • Capers
  • Green onions
  • Hardboiled egg (diced)
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Jumbo lump crab meat

Citrus Dressing

  • 4 spoonfuls of mustard
  • 2 spoonfuls of minced shallot
  • 1/4 Cup of lemon juice
  • 1/4 Cup of orange juice
  • 1/4 Cup of pineapple juice
  • 1/4 Cup of grape juice
  • 1 spoonful of sugar
  • 2 Cups of olive oil
  • 1 pinch of white pepper
  • 1 pinch of salt (add to taste)
  • 1 lemon zest
