Small plane makes emergency landing near airport

The pilot was reportedly unhurt after this emergency landing

A pilot of a small plane is reportedly not seriously hurt after an emergency landing in west Houston.

Shortly before 4pm, the pilot contacted West Houston Airport to say the four-person plane was going down. It touched down in a field near Morton and Porter, about eight miles northwest of the airport.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office says the pilot reported that he didn't need EMS. There is no visible damage to the plane.
