MEET THE HOUSE CALL HEALTH EXPERTS
Mohammad Madjid, MD, MS
For more than a decade, Mohammad Madjid, MD, MS, an interventional cardiologist and assistant professor of medicine at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth, has been researching the role of influenza in triggering heart attacks and establishing the efficacy of influenza vaccine in preventing cardiovascular events. He also is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease and provides care to patients at UT Physicians Bayshore Multispecialty-Bayshore, 11476 Space Center Blvd. Madjid received his medical degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences and his Master of Science in clinical research from the Center for Clinical Research & Evidence-Based Medicine at UTHealth. He completed his residency and two fellowships at Baylor College of Medicine.
