Shreela V. Sharma, PhD, RD, LD

Shreela V. Sharma, PhD, RD, LD, is a leader in the development and implementation of programs designed to improve nutrition and physical activity among children and adults, particularly those in underserved communities. As an associate professor in the Department of Epidemiology, Human Genetics, and Environmental Sciences at UTHealth School of Public Health, Sharma focuses on behavioral epidemiology, obesity prevention, food insecurity, chronic disease prevention, and oral health interventions.
