We have an update to an Eyewitness News investigation of some messages sent by two Houston police officers involving marijuana.

We told you last year that two HPD officers sent messages on their patrol car computers saying they found more marijuana than was turned in as evidence, and they were high as they drove a suspect to jail.

The department has finished its investigation of the incident and concluded no rules were broken.

The department admits the comments by the officers were inappropriate, and says the officers were counseled about the messages.
