HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Easter is right around the corner and egg hunts are popping up all over town starting this weekend!
We asked viewers for their favorite spots to go egg hunting and from it we put together this top 5 list in order of when they take place. Happy hunting!
Easter Extravaganza and Egg Hunt at Blessington Farms
April 8, 9, 14 and 15 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day
Admission is $3 with purchase of $10 Farm Funland ticket
Blessington Farms is fun all year around, but there's even more excitement when they roll out the grand Easter egg hunt! There are still all the attractions in the Farm Funland, including barrel trains, hay rides, animal encounters, strawberry picking, and more! The Easter Bunny stops by the farm on April 3 and 4.
Animal Egg Hunt at the Houston Zoo
April 15 at 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Event is included with paid Zoo admission
Join the Houston Zoo as animals participate in their very own Animal Egg Hunt! Our gorillas, meerkats, and even the elephants are receiving their own egg-themed enrichment throughout the day. Visit them at their habitats in the Houston Zoo and see them hunt, eat, and play with eggs of all sizes!
Easter Orange Hunt & PEEPS Art Contest
April 15 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Admission: Free
Kids will roam a colorful maze of the Orange Show Monument as they search for candy-filled eggs, oranges and other fun prizes.
The Life Community Church in LaPorte
April 15 at 10 a.m. Admission: Free
Volunteers at The Life Community Church will hide over 10,000 candy-stuffed eggs. Children ages 0-12 are invited to come find them! The hunt will include free face painting, an inflatable obstacle course, music, and food.
April 16 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Head over to Moody Gardens for their Annual Easter Egg Hunts. Children ages 9 and younger are invited to run around the Oleander Bowl filled with colorful eggs. Other activities include a variety of games for fun prizes.
