Travis Scott's ASTROWORLD Festival returning to Houston
The Houston native is bringing back his popular ASTROWORLD festival!

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Travis Scott fans, November will be a big month for you this year.

The Houston native's popular ASTROWORLD festival returns to his hometown this fall in a new two-day format. The festival will rock NRG Park on Friday, Nov. 5 and Saturday, Nov. 6.

Tickets go on sale next Wednesday, May 5, at 10 a.m. on the festival's website. You may want to sit by your phone for this time around. The last time the festival was in town, the event sold out in a matter of minutes.

Scott, who celebrated his 29th birthday on Friday, is confirmed as the headlining performer, according to a press release. The full highly anticipated lineup will be revealed closer to the event.

The music festival brought out more than 50,000 fans in 2019.

ASTROWORLD Festival is also offering several premium VIP packages. Interested fans are encouraged to purchase their passes as soon as possible as ticket prices will continue to rise as the festival date approaches.

A portion of proceeds from the event will be donated to the festival's official charity partner, Cactus Jack Foundation.

Founded by Scott, the nonprofit looks to empower and enrich the lives of youth by providing access to education and creative resources.

Scott grew up in Missouri City and is known for his charitable work across the Houston area. During Thanksgiving last year, he donated food to about 1,000 families in need in the Sunnyside neighborhood.
