Woman killed, man critically injured in southwest Houston shooting, HPD says

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A woman is dead, and a man was rushed to the hospital after a shooting in southwest Houston, according to the Houston Police Department.

According to investigators, the shooting was reported on Thursday evening in the 8700 block of Gustine Lane.

Lt. Larry Crowson told Eyewitness News that detectives suspect the incident was related to domestic violence.

HPD said that the man was critically injured and that there was no danger to the public at the time.
