Jones Hall lost power during a concert last night, but fans still had a great time.

Steve Tyrell was singing when the hall unexpectedly plunged into darkness around 9:30pm. Some backup lighting came on and Tyrell kept singing.

"The band played on. He sang on. The crowd stood up and clapped. We danced and we sang," said concert-goer Mary Donna Moceri. "It was great. More fun than if the lights stayed on."

The lights came on a short time later.

Tyrell got his start by playing the wedding singer in 'Father of the Bride.'
