Woman accused of convincing elderly man to buy her $1,800 of groceries

HOUSTON

On September 29, 2013, officials say Giget For approached a 90-year-old man in the parking lot of a business located in the 21100 block of Kuykendall Road in Spring. For allegedly convinced the male victim that she was in desperate need of groceries for herself and children, and defrauded the man into buying more than $1,800 worth of groceries.

For allegedly continued to deceive the man, and lead him to a retailer in the 6000 block of FM 2920, where she used his credit card to make an additional purchase totaling more than $1,000.

Investigators say For has multiple outstanding warrants for incidents involving theft from elderly men in Harris County.

Anyone with information about For is asked to contact Crime Stoppers of Houston at 713-222-TIPS. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for any information that leads to the arrest of the fugitive in this case.
