Topless pics of Harris County high schoolers posted online

HOUSTON

Baytown police say a student notified a counselor about the page and that counselor reached out to them. The graphic photos included teen girls from surrounding cities, too.

It's been the talk in the halls at Baytown's Lee High School and even on the soccer field.

"We got in trouble yesterday at practice for talking about it," senior Madeline Poirot said.

The Instagram page is making the rounds and embarrassing female students along the way.

"They put a lot of people's self esteem way down," sophomore Maria Alvarez said.

"One of the girls was crying," junior Gabby Derobles said.

Baytown police were alerted to the public site on Monday by a student. We are not naming it due to the nature of the content.

"I saw the page. I'm not going to lie. I saw it. It's like bikinis and naked pictures," sophomore Darius Greens said.

"It would be embarrassing. If it was me, I'd be mad," sophomore Brianna Adams said.

Police tell us the pictures were categorized by east Harris County areas including Channelview, La Porte and Baytown. They are investigating the origin while the girls have learned a tough lesson.

"Girls these days should know better than to send nudes," senior Chloe Busby said.

"Don't expose yourself because it will come back to you," sophomore Devon Seales said.

Goose Creek Consolidated ISD is also investigating.

By Tuesday night, it appears the photos were removed from the page.
