Friday, we reported that 36-year old Paul Tate was accused of with indecency with a child and improper relationship with a student.
Court documents accused the teacher of showering a teenage student with gifts and exchanging explicit text messages.
A judge refused to sign off on the charges until the case can be further investigated.
Tate remains on administrative leave from Pasadena ISD as the investigation continues.
