A burglary suspect is on the loose this morning after allegedly breaking into a Bed Bath & Beyond in west Houston.

It happened at the store in the 230 block of South Highway 6 at Westheimer Road.

According to investigators, a security alarm went off around 3am. Several officers showed up and heard the suspect inside.

Police said he used a frying pan to break a front window and escape. He remains on the run.

Police are reviewing security camera footage, but they do not believe he got away with anything. A bunch of merchandise was left stacked outside the back of the store, officials said.
