Baby tossed to safety from 2nd floor in NYC fire

NEW YORK

They say the infant was caught by bystanders on the street. The child was not injured.

The fire erupted just before 7 a.m. Wednesday at the two-story building in the Bronx. It was brought under control about 50 minutes later.

Fire officials say three people, including two children, suffered minor injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
