Police investigating death of woman found in car

PASADENA, TX

The discovery was made Monday evening at an apartment complex in the 3500 block of Red Bluff Road. Investigators say there are no obvious signs of foul play.

The woman was located by a coworker and her father. Her dad said he last spoke to the 27-year-old at about 4pm Sunday, and she was OK.

According to investigators, her father was unable to track her down Monday and called Allied Foundation, where she worked as a secretary. After he learned she was not at work, he and a foreman came to parking lot, and they found her dead in the front seat of the car.

There were no marks visible to them that could indicate how she died.

Jorge Trujillo, a fellow coworker, has known the victim for three years said it was unusual for her not to show up for work.

"She was nice. She was a real cool person. I just got to meet her. I've talked to her only a few times, not that much," Trujillo said.

Detectives say they don't know why she was at the complex, but confirmed for us that she did not live there.
