It happened just before 10pm on I-10 near Sheldon in east Harris County.
Deputy constables say a person was attempting to cross the freeway when they were hit and killed by a car. Investigators have not released the name or age of the victim.
The person driving the car was not hurt and it's not yet clear if the driver will face charges.
