The suspect was due to appear in court on Friday, but that hearing was reset. Stanford Kennedy, 52, is charged with using his cell phone to take some very inappropriate and unwanted pictures.
According to police, Kennedy was in an office building at 1600 Smith Street in downtown Houston on Tuesday, when a 31-year-old woman noticed him trying to take a picture with his cell phone up her skirt. Police say the woman felt someone bump her leg, and turned around and saw Kennedy.
According to police, a security guard also witnessed the incident, and later confirmed Kennedy's ID through the building's surveillance video. We asked to see the surveillance video that showed the suspect in action, but the management company declined.
Kennedy was later arrested, and charged with improper photography. He is currently still in custody, held on $2,000 bond.
We knocked on the door of Kennedy's home in League City, but no one answered. As for Kennedy, he is due in court on October 8.
