The 'New Dome Pac' will be hosting a fundraiser to help get support for the $217 million bond election. That money would be used to re-purpose the Eighth Wonder of the World.
In November, voters will decide if the Astrodome is worth the property tax increase. If it's approved, developers will start transforming the arena into a giant convention center that will be able to host several events.
