Police said the victim showed up at the Azalea Motel in the 7100 block of North Shepherd at Millville Drive.
According to authorities, he was shot in the back. When he arrived at the motel, someone called 911 and he was taken to an area hospital.
At last check, his condition was unknown. It's unclear where the actual shooting took place.
