The accident happened during rush hour Wednesday morning on Jacintoport near S. Sheldon in east Harris County. Investigators say the deputy constable collided with a car while he was on the bike.
He was taken to a hospital, but his injuries aren't life-threatening. Police are working to sort out what exactly happened to cause the crash.
