A DPS trooper tried to pull a motorcyclist over in the southbound lanes of I-45 near The Woodlands.
The motorcyclist sped on and led troopers down FM 2920 and then back toward the highway. Authorities say the motorcyclist was traveling at least 100 miles an hour for most of the chase. However, he crashed near Stuebner Airline.
"The suspect ended up taking a curve at a high rate of speed," said Corporal William Frederick with DPS. "He lost control of the bike and went off the roadway."
He was taken to the hospital. There is no word on his condition and authorities have not released his name.
