Deputies were called out to New Caney about a suspicious vehicle. A trooper spotted the pickup at a traffic light and stopped the driver.
Authorities tell us they found an air-conditioning unit in the bed of the pickup. They say it had been stolen from a church.
The driver, Howard Windham, was arrested. The pastor of the church says the AC unit was a replacement for another unit that was stolen last year.
