Rogelio Gonzalez-Lopez is jailed on child endangerment charges for driving with his nephew without a car seat.
Police say he took his four-year-old nephew by force out of his mother's arms on Tuesday. Authorities were about to issue an Amber Alert when they spotted Gonzalez-Lopez nearby and took him into custody.
Officers recovered the boy and reunited him with his mother about four hours after he was snatched. The child was unharmed.
