It happened Tuesday afternoon on I-10 eastbound near the North Freeway. We've learned the biker either hit a big rig, or swerved to avoid it and fell off the elevated portion of the freeway.
It's believed he did have a helmet on. The motorcyclist was rushed to a hospital. No word yet on his condition.
The freeway is back open.
