Watchful neighbor scares off burglar

HOUSTON

On Tuesday, September 4, at about 11am, the unknown suspect burglarized a home located in the 800 block of Wavecrest Lane. The home's resident was at work when the suspect walked into the backyard and broke a window to gain entry into the home. While inside, the suspect collected various jewelry, computers and electronics before exiting the front door.

A watchful neighbor confronted the suspect as he carried a television from the home. The suspect fled as the neighbor confronted him, leaving the television behind. The suspect left in an unknown direction, riding a black 10-speed mountain bike.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his late twenties, standing approximately 5'11" and weighing between 175-185 pounds. The suspect has short black hair and a medium complexion.
