The church in Houston's east end serves the needs of Mexican Catholic immigrants who are new to the neighborhood.
Tonight's celebration includes a special mass and reception for parishioners and visitors.
The mass begins at 6:30pm at the church on Navigation Boulevard near Jensen Drive.
