According to the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called out to a home in the 600 block of San Carlos near Cumings Road around 3:40am.
Detectives say a fight broke out during a party and several people were injured. One woman suffered a head injury and had to be transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital via LifeFlight. Five more drove themselves to a medical center in Richmond and another three were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Detectives detained one person and are still looking for another.
Authorities did not detail the circumstances leading up to the fight and say no charges have been filed so far.
