It happened around 1am at the Ventura Lofts on Gessner near Ella Lee in west Houston.
Firefighters say the blaze began in a pickup, then spread to a car and an SUV. No other vehicles were damaged, and no injuries were reported.
Arson investigators are trying to determine what caused the fire.
