Survey: Houstonians want more mass transit

More mass transit please. That's what Houstonians are asking for in a new survey.

The Houston Chronicle reports the Kinder Houston Area Survey found strong support for mass transit. Experts say the romance with the automobile is fading due to $4 per gallon gas.

The survey shows just over half of Harris County residents would live in a smaller home just to be within walking distance of work rather than have a big house. That's up from 39 percent in 2010.
