The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office says the body of 78-year-old Opal Hayes was discovered Wednesday morning.
The pool is less than a mile from her New Caney home. Authorities believe the woman accidentally drowned.
Hayes was last seen late Tuesday at her grandson's home.
