HOUSTON --
A Precinct One constable crashed while trying to conduct a traffic stop overnight. He slammed into a concrete barricade on the West Loop at Westheimer. The constable was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The West Loop was reduced to one lane for about 30 minutes while police cleared the scene.
At this time, it's unknown just how the constable lost control of his car. The cause is still under investigation.
