It happened around 2:45am on the Southwest Freeway near Gray. Crews shut down the freeway as they worked to clear the mess.
Police say the woman lost control of her car and smashed into a metal guard rail. Crews had to remove the doors of the car to get her out. She went to the hospital listed in stable condition.
