They tried to pull the man over for traffic violations, but weren't able to catch him until he crashed in a ditch off East Crosstimbers at Curry on the northeast side of town.
Officers say the man tried to run, but they quickly tackled the man and arrested him. The man was on parole, but is now back in jail facing new charges.
