Lowell Cook Bell was found lying face down in a pool of blood after family members who hadn't heard from him in several days went to his apartment to check up on him, according to Crime Stoppers. There was no sign of forced entry into the apartment, but investigators believe several items were taken from his home.
Authorities did not specify how Bell was killed or what items appeared to be stolen.
So far, no witnesses have contact police, so anyone with information regarding Bell's murder is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477. Up to $7,500 could be offered as a reward for anyone who helps lead detectives to a suspect.
