Sheriff's deputies discovered the man lying on the sidewalk on Chisholm Trail near Rankin around 9pm Tuesday. The man had been shot multiple times and was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Deputies say he was shot after he got into an argument with another man.
The shooter remains on the loose.
