The Harris County Sheriff's Office detained three people. They say the suspects were caught breaking into homes in the Silver Leaf Subdivision. Residents there told Eyewitness News there had been four break-ins in the span of an hour.
Spring ISD officials put Thompson Elementary and Claughton Middle School on lockdown as a precaution while deputies searched for the suspects. The lockdown order was lifted at about 12:30pm.
There's no word on any charges filed at this time.
