It happened at the Brickhouse Gully on the feeder of the Northwest Freeway at Saxon. Houston police say the driver was going eastbound on 290 when he exited the freeway, went through a grassy area and ended in the concrete bottom of the bayou.
The man was treated for minor bumps and bruises. Investigators say he may have been texting while driving.
