Police first spotted the vehicle without a license plate on Beechnut at Club Creek around 11:30pm and tried to pull over the driver. But the car didn't stop and that led to a short chase that ended on Beechnut at Fondren.
The suspects were going so fast, they lost control on a curb and their vehicle flipped over in a parking lot and then slammed into a parked car. The suspects' vehicle started to spin and finally came to a rest upside down in a chain link fence.
Both suspects inside the car took off running. One man was arrested. The other remains on the run.
