The prosecution is expected to rest Wednesday in the case of 54-year-old Billy Joe Harris, the man accused of being "The Twilight Rapist."
DNA samples link Harris to six assaults or attempted assaults during a two-year period. He has been charged with the sexual assault of a disabled person in a case in Jackson County, and has pending charges in other counties.
A 59-year-old disabled woman testified Tuesday that Harris broke into her apartment Jan. 8 at an assisted-living facility in Edna and raped her. Edna is about 100 miles southwest of Houston.
The Victoria Advocate reports that Harris' attorney said his client suffers from multiple personality disorder.
