The crash happened around 2:30am Sunday on Spears Rd. at Antoine.
Officials said a man was walking on the shoulder of Spears Rd. when a car went partially into the ditch and struck him. The pedestrian was transported to Houston Northwest Medical Center in critical condition.
According to investigators, the driver of the car fled the scene on foot.
