Officials said the woman had just arrived at a friend's house Tuesday morning on Northwest Park Place near Texas 249.
She stopped the car and got out, but officials said the vehicle was not in park. The car rolled over the woman and she was pinned beneath one of the tires.
According to witnesses, a neighbor got a floor jack and tried to lift the car off the woman to relieve pressure.
She was taken to an area hospital with CPR in progress and later died.
