A man with at least three convictions for spray painting graffiti in El Paso was arrested hours after getting out of jail when police saw him spray painting a utility pole.

Miguel Angel Estrada was jailed on a misdemeanor graffiti charge and released on $300 bond. Officers said he had paint on his hands and shirt and several cans of spray paint were inside his car when he was caught Sunday. His car was parked on the side of a road with its emergency lights flashing. On Saturday, he was released from jail after serving 30 days for evading arrest last month.

Last year, the 21-year-old Estrada had sentences ranging from 30 to 45 days in jail for graffiti cases in February, April and October.
