It happened around 9:30pm Saturday on Nicar near Airline.
Deputies say the man was driving the motorcycle eastbound on Nicar at a high rate of speed and the woman was riding on the back.
An SUV backed out of a home's driveway and the motorcycle slid into the side of the SUV.
Both riders were taken to Ben Taub General hospital in critical condition. Deputies say neither of them was wearing a helmet.
Investigators say the driver of the SUV is at fault and will be ticketed for the crash.
No one in that vehicle was injured.
