A CenterPoint Energy spokesperson says a crew was doing maintenance when they accidentally hit a four-inch gas main near the intersection of Morton League at Mayweather. Crews were able to cap the leak and service is now back on.
No injuries were reported. Because of the leak, traffic wasn't being permitted into the neighborhood south of the Morton League/Mayweather intersection, which impacts about 600 homes. That access has now been restored.Gas leak forces Pecan Grove residents to shelter in place
