Dallas police seize stolen helicopter on trailer

DALLAS, TX KXAS-TV reports that the privately owned chopper was on a trailer located early Friday in the parking lot of a Dallas hotel.

The 2002 Bell helicopter has been transported to the police auto pound.

Police are trying to locate the truck driver responsible for hauling the helicopter from the Fort Worth area to Mount Pleasant, Pa.

Dallas police did not immediately return a message Friday to The Associated Press.
