West Loop-SW Freeway ramp closure this weekend
HOUSTON
For a second weekend in a row, there are closures at the West Loop and the 59 interchange. Starting at 9pm Friday through 5am Monday morning, the northbound ramp to the Southwest Freeway will be shut down. Also the northbound ramp from Bissonnet and two right lanes of the West Loop from Bissonnet and 59 will also be closed.
As far as a detour, you are urged to continue northbound on 610 to the Westheimer exit and u-turn to 610 southbound to 59 north or southbound.
And on Highway 59, three southbound lanes from Kirby to the West Loop will also be shut down. Motorists are urged to detour to the Westheimer entrance.
