Officers called in dogs to look for the suspect, but he ended up getting away. Police do now have possession of his car. They're not sure why he tried to run.
Suspect manages to elude police after chase
FORT BEND COUNTY, TX
We first told you about the chase as breaking news at 10pm last night. Officers started chasing after a man on Highway 6 and Bellaire after a traffic stop.
He bailed out on Camden Fields Lane near FM 1464 in Fort Bend County.
