It happened on Houston Ave. at Bayland around 1:20am.
According to Houston police, the motorcycle rider was traveling north on Houston Ave. when he missed a curve in the roadway and lost control.
Both motorcycle and driver went sliding down the road and the motorcycle stopped against a tree.
Police said the man was not wearing a helmet. He was dead by the time emergency officials arrived.
No other vehicles were involved in this accident. Police say the investigation is continuing.
