Family seeks help to find missing loved one

His brother and sister-in-law say 66-year-old Jim Polzin hasn't been seen since he spoke with a neighbor around 5 the night of April 20. Now, they are worried.

"We just want to find him. That's all there is to it," said Jan Polzin.

From their porch in Davison, Al and Jan Polzin wiped away tears, desperate for any information about where their loved one may be.

They say Jim, a retired private investigator has been missing since Wednesday, April 20. They saw him earlier in the day, but not since.

The couple says a neighbor spoke with him around 5 that night.

"He asked to take him to dinner and Jim said, 'No, I don't feel good, I'm just going to go in and rest,'" Jan said.

And that's the last anyone that they know of has seen of him.

"His car is still in the garage with [the] door shut. We've been through the home. His cell phone is not there. His wallet is not there. Everything looks like it's in its place," Jan said. "He's a private person. He never would have left his mail and paper out in the box for days."

Jan and Al are in the process of making flyers to flood his neighborhood.

They say he takes nightly walks and hope someone may have seen something.

Polzin, who is about 5'11 lives on Windemere near Dort and often walks in that park nearby.

His family says he usually wears the same kind of clothing and sunglasses, so he would not be heard to spot.

If you have any information about him or where he may be, please call Flint Police.
